The speedbundle contains everything needed to get a speedtouch modem working on a linux box (except the firmware): the kernel module, a firmware loader, a PPPoATM aware ppp and various handy scripts and configuration files.
Version 1.7 of the speedtouch driver has been released This version features a complete rewrite of the receive code and various minor improvements. It is compatible with kernels 2.4.16 to 2.4.21.
The website has been rewritten. The new style was shamelessly ripped from the oprofile website. The aim is to make it easier to find the information you are looking for. Please send your suggestions for further improvement to the mailing list.
The speedtouch driver has been merged into the 2.4 kernel tree (it was already in the 2.5 tree).
Version 1.6 of the speedtouch driver has been released. This version fixes many bugs and adds support for the SpeedTouch 330 modem. It should be completely stable and SMP/preempt safe. It is compatible with kernel versions 2.4.16 to 2.4.21. There is no longer any need for sarlib - it has been merged into the kernel module.
